Herbes de Provence
#3a5f49
Herbal, medium-moss green with muted Provence coolness
About Herbes de Provence
On a sprig of dried Provence herbs, the green looks like it has been gently sun-warmed and softened, not leaf-juiced. Herbes de Provence lands mid-depth and slightly muted, with a more earthy, herbal cast than the calmer moss lean of Ethereal Woods, and less park-bench shadow than Forest Serenade. Compared to Jewel, it isn't as cultivated or jewel-bright, so the color feels more pantry-real than horticulture-show.
For UI, I use it when I want a nature tone that reads grounded but still feels crisp in layout. Think wellness and CPG ingredient labels, herb-forward packaging systems, and product detail pages for supplements where you want guidance without triggering the "action highlight" intensity Jewel gives you. It also works well on editorial section headers for food and gardening magazines, and on content tiles in dashboards tied to retail assortments.
Pair it with warm creams or weathered tan, and keep it away from colder slate-heavy palettes, otherwise it can start to look a touch flat instead of herb-scented.
