Waterfall

I keep seeing Waterfall look like the moment after a splash, when the teal is still wet but the air has cooled. It's lighter than Ambrosial Oceanside and less saturated than Billiard, so it won't punch through a dense UI the way those do. Compared to Water Park, it holds a steadier blue-lean, with less minty bounce and more calm water depth.

For dashboards and finance apps, I like it on key surfaces where you want clarity without the "too loud" feeling. Think primary CTA fills, selected data-band backgrounds, and high-contrast interaction states on health SaaS screens with lots of labels. It reads crisp against mid and dark neutrals, and it stays readable without sliding into that seaweed softness some greener teals pick up.

If your palette runs warm, test it early. Waterfall can feel a touch paler and more muted next to honeyed grays, so I usually pair it with charcoal type and cooler off-whites to keep it anchored. This is the one you reach for when you want teal presence with restraint.
