About Viking
On my monitor, Viking reads like a clear sky-blue with a slightly softened edge, not the electric cyan push you get from Blue Bobbin. It's lighter than Blue Martini, but still stays more saturated than the mid, misty blues that can start to look washed. The undertone is clean and cool, yet it doesn't feel knife-sharp. It lands closer to daylight than to screen-laser.
I use Viking for dashboards and health platforms when I want interactive states to feel present, not loud. Think active tabs, status chips, and CTA highlights in light-themed product UIs, plus the kind of line chart accents where you need clarity over flash. Compared to Finnish Fiord's balanced warmth, Viking stays cooler and more direct, so it feels the one you reach for when the interface needs a calm, confident blue.
Quick note: on warmer displays it won't turn as greenish as some blues near the teal line. Pair it with neutral grays and you'll feel the difference immediately.
