Sharp yellow-green punch for attention bars, not text
About Noxious
Noxious looks like a leaf that's been in the shade too long, but it still keeps that green spine. It's greener than BioShock, less "cooked" into mud, and it doesn't carry the sun-leaning sparkle of Guardian of Gardens or Augustus Asparagus. Instead, it comes off drier and more weighted, with a slightly cooler undertone that makes it feel sharper than its neighbors.
I use it when the UI needs "alive" without turning cheerful: dashboards for environmental monitoring, logistics maps, and industrial control panels where statuses should read clearly at a glance. It also works well for asset status badges and alert-adjacent components that must not look yellow. Compared to Guardian of Gardens, it's less settled and more tense; compared to Augustus Asparagus, it trades brightness for a steadier, denser presence.
Quirk: it can feel heavy next to pale pastels. If you pair it, reach for warm grays, clay creams, or light wood so the green stays readable rather than gloomy.
