Deer

On my screen, Deer reads like a softened deer-wood brown with a muted honey lean. It's not as burnt or iron-heavy as Arrakis Spice, and it doesn't carry that buttery bronzed glow of Butter Bronze. Compared to Barista's Favourite, it feels lighter and more mellow, less roasty, with a quieter earthiness.

I reach for Deer when a UI needs warmth without getting too caramel or too heavy. It's a strong choice for heritage and craft brand interfaces, product detail pages, and editorial sections where you're layering typography over photography. Use it for card surfaces, panel backgrounds, and button states that should feel grounded but still open up the layout. Deer stays gentle while holding presence. Pair it with linen creams, warm grays, and deeper umbers to keep the undertone reading cohesive. Warm but not orange-forward, it works harder than it looks.

One heads-up: on very pale, cool whites it can look slightly dull, so steer it toward warmer neutrals or richer text colors.
