Muted olive chartreuse for grounded, submerged highlights
About Sunken Treasure
Sunken Treasure is the green I spot on the inside of a weathered box of keepsakes, where it's been held in low light long enough to lose its punch. It reads more muted and earthy than Hay Day's creamy wheat-gold, and it's less overtly yellow than Fool's Gold. Compared to Alligator Alley, it feels calmer, not sun-growing and not as cleanly sun-touched.
This one earns its keep in places where you want green without the "look at me" effect. I use it for agriculture and sustainability landing pages section panels, slow-breathing data labels in logistics dashboards, and calmer UI states in plant-care and environmental monitoring apps. It also works for editorial sidebars and article callouts where the page already has texture or photos, because it sits back while staying readable.
Pair it with deep charcoal or warm stone, and it won't compete. If you put it next to cooler grays, keep an eye on contrast because it can feel darker and more recessed than you expect.
