Peru always reads like a sunlit plaster wall next to terracotta tile. It's that midtone, orange-brown yellow that feels grounded, not sticky. Compared to Butter Bronze, it's less buttery and smoother to the eye, but more earthy and noticeably more orange in its undertone. And where Harvest at Dusk turns red-dusty and bronzed, Peru stays cleaner and less dusty.

It's the one I reach for when a page needs warmth with a bit of grit, like artisan product pages for ceramics and woven textiles, or hospitality layouts for menus and check-in screens. Use it in button states and card headers where you want presence without drifting into the deeper caramel direction of Caramelise. The saturation sits firm, and the lightness keeps it from feeling cooked or heavy.

Pair it with oat cream, warm grays, and natural wood tones. If you put it next to very bright yellow-greens, it can look slightly dull, even when the rest of the palette pops.
