Zombie sits somewhere between chalky garden moss and a muted health-pack label. It's pale, but not in the airy, gray-whisper way Celery Sceptre does. This one has a steadier green core and a slightly dusty, cool gray-green cast that keeps it from turning warm like April Showers.

Compared to Mermaid Tears, Zombie is less sunlit and less slippery. It reads more restrained and a bit more lifeless, like color that's been softened under fluorescent light. I reach for it on dashboards and finance apps, especially in fintech and operations products where you want panels, section blocks, and status surfaces to feel calm without drifting into buttery warmth. It's also a solid background for healthcare editorial templates and forms where you need clarity that won't glare.

Pair Zombie with near-black text and crisp sage or deeper greens for borders, and avoid pairing it with heavy cream tones, or it can start to look a touch dirty instead of simply muted.
