About Rosewater
Rosewater is what I see on a rose-tinted lid after it's been softened by daylight. It sits between peach and pink, but unlike Dawn Patrol it stays less creamy-yellow and more rose-sweet. Compared with Pink Glitter, it's not frosty or milk-gloss; it has a warmer, fuller blush. And next to Ballet, it keeps its peach direction instead of drifting toward mauve.
For UI work, I like it in beauty packaging previews and skincare and nail app screens where you want warmth that doesn't turn coral. It also holds up well in soft-focus product UI on both light and off-white layouts, especially when the rest of the palette needs to feel friendly rather than muted. It's the one you reach for when the hero elements should read clearly without shouting, unlike Ballet which can feel too washed if the contrast isn't there.
One quirk: if you pair it with very buttery creams, Rosewater can look a touch flat, so I usually contrast it with deeper terracotta or a sharper blush accent.
