About Minion Yellow

I like Minion Yellow as the moment you notice a food photo's highlight has gone just a bit softer and calmer than the usual lemon accents. It reads lighter and greener-leaning than the yellows around it, with less orange heat than Habañero Gold and more steady daylight clarity than Golden Goose. Compared to Angry Pasta, it doesn't feel like it's arguing for attention. It's approachable, but it still pops.

On product pages and checkout flows, this is my go-to background tint when you want "ready to buy" energy without turning CTAs into an alarm. In hospitality booking screens and food delivery apps, it works for step headers, promo bands, and quantity pickers where you need energy and appetite that stays readable next to charcoal UI. Pair it with deep greens and espresso for contrast that doesn't fight the undertone, and with warm wood or light grays it actually strengthens the whole layout.

Just watch it against very beige surfaces: the green cast can make those areas look a little dull, so test the exact pairing with your product photography.
