Furious Red
#ff1100
Lean, high-saturation orange-red for urgent hierarchy blocks
About Furious Red
I keep seeing Furious Red in UI mockups and thinking it looks like heat that's been edited down. It's still unmistakably orange-family, but it sits closer to true red in tone, less sugary than Candy Apple Red and less orange-busy than British Phone Booth.
Compared to Carolina Reaper, this one feels more deliberate than urgent. The saturation is intense without getting as sharp-edged or "alarm-mode" about it, so it reads punchy even when you're layering it with other brand colors. I'd use it for alerts on production and logistics screens, medical device readouts, and real-time sports and live event dashboards where you want attention without that clinical snap.
Pair it with charcoal, slate, or near-black for the cleanest separation, and avoid cream or warm whites, because it can start looking a little harsher and less controlled than you meant.
