Cupid’s Eye

Soft fuchsia-pink highlight with gentle, focused glow
About Cupid’s Eye
On a screen, Cupid's Eye reads like a hot-pink lens flare that's been slightly filtered, not blasted raw. It's noticeably lighter than Brutal Pink, but it stays more saturated than Cotton Candy Explosions. The feel is less compressed and less cold, with a punchy magenta-lean that makes it feel brighter than the neon edge without turning into Barbara's unapologetic electricity.
I use it for hero buttons, verification and messaging accents, and playful-but-serious states in mobile banking and dating apps where you want momentum, not aggression. It shows up in music and lifestyle streaming artwork too, especially on dark headers where it can sit forward while still reading controlled. This is the one you reach for when Barbara feels too sharp and Barbara's cousin tone (Brutal Pink) feels too icy.
Pair it with clean off-whites or deep charcoal, and be careful with overly warm backgrounds. They can flatten the magenta undertone fast, making it look like a compromise instead of a choice.
