Sea Paint
#00507a
Sea-wet mid blue for calmer, less ink depth
About Sea Paint
On my screen, Sea Paint feels like a calm signboard blue, not a deep navy and not an airy sky tone. It's noticeably lighter than Grand Bleu and less dark than Beyond the Sea, so it reads present without sinking into the UI. The undertone is more teal-leaning, which makes it feel cooler than its neighbors instead of heavy or mineral.
I reach for it in dashboards and finance apps where you want hierarchy that stays friendly. Think banking product pages, logistics control panels, and healthcare portals for primary tabs, key numbers, and link states on light surfaces. Compared with Dark Denim, it doesn't "disappear into the interface." Sea Paint stays legible and forward, with a steadier, less stern presence.
Quirk: because it's a touch lighter and greener, it can look a bit flat next to very saturated blues. Pair it with crisp whites or warm neutrals so the contrast feels intentional, not washed.
