About Wizards Orb
The first thing I notice about Wizards Orb is that it looks like teal-black ink left under a desk lamp. It's not as heavy as Emperor Jade, and it doesn't read as airy as Prismarine. Still saturated, but it carries its blue undertone with a softer, slightly smoky lightness that keeps it from feeling oppressive.
In UI, I use this shade when I need a primary action that's authoritative without turning the interface into a dark room. It's great for dashboard accents in telecom and fintech workflows, key highlights in healthcare admin screens, and "next step" buttons on data-heavy operations pages. Compared to Ivy, Wizards Orb has a touch more depth and less clarity, so selection states feel more intentional. I reach for it when I want the one you reach for between "trustworthy" and "notice me," especially over deeper grays.
Pair it with clean whites or pale cool neutrals so the undertone stays blue. On warm backgrounds it can start to feel a bit murkier than you expect, so give it room to breathe.
