About Tractor Beam
I think of Tractor Beam as the blue you notice on the edge of your vision, not the one that sits politely like most "regular" blues. It's cleaner and lighter than Capri, but it doesn't go cyan-candy. Compared to Hawaii Morning, it's cooler and more focused, less morning-soft and more headed toward laser-sharp.
Where Megaman feels crisp and sky-bright, Tractor Beam has a subtler pull, like the tint has been tuned for UI instead of daylight. I use it for dashboards and finance apps when a secondary action needs to feel intentional, and for primary links, chips, and key hover states that should read instantly without becoming neon. It's also great in product settings and admin tables in SaaS, where you want the one you reach for when hierarchy matters.
If you pair it with very warm grays, it can look slightly icy; with deep blues, it holds its composure and stays crisp.
