Balanced medium jewel green for subtle accents

About Jewel

I think of Jewel as the you see on fresh-cut plant labels: saturated enough to read as "real," but not so dark that it turns into hedge weight. It sits between the foresty seriousness of and the sharper, cleaner punch of Into the , but it brings a more balanced, jewel-toned presence. Where Bucolic stays crisp and uniformly alive, Jewel has a slightly deeper, more cultivated undertone that feels richer without going brown.

In UI, it's the one you reach for when you want an action state, tag, or chart highlight that feels curated, not corporate. I've used it for CPG packaging accents in wellness lines, and for editorial maps and section headers where you want hierarchy without slipping into the slick muted leaf-oil vibe other greens can carry.

Pair it with warm cream or light stone and let it breathe. If you push it beside cool slate, the richness can flatten and start to look darker than you intended.
