Vegetarian
#22aa00
Bright medium green with balanced, fresh undertone
About Vegetarian
I keep running into Vegetarian when I'm proofing UI chips that need to read "green" but not feel like chart paint. It's greener without going yellow-forward, and compared to Always Greener Grass or Hedged Garden it feels a touch more controlled in intensity. The result is a leafier tone that holds its character in motion, not a punchy sign-green that begs for attention.
Use it for vegetarian moments in food tech and menu ordering, but also for product states in systems that shouldn't look aggressive: ingredient filter pills, nutrition dashboards, inventory status labels, and admin tables. Versus Botanical Garden, it's lighter in feel and less weighted, so it won't sink into "worked soil" on mid-tone screens. I like it on white or very pale neutrals because it stays legible without turning clinical.
Pair Vegetarian with clean grays or warm wood accents, and avoid letting it sit next to heavy yellow-greens, which can make it read slightly cooler than you intended.
