Deeper blue-green for grounded forestlike sidebar sections
About Nordic Forest
Nordic Forest looks like the moment your UI leaves the bright end of teal and drops into a shaded evergreen canopy. It's still unmistakably blue-green, but it feels tighter and steadier than the mid-depth teals nearby, with a cooler, moss-dark undertone instead of a greener read.
Compared to Majorelle Gardens, it has more weight and less "garden softness." Compared to Green Sleeves, it won't tip toward warmth, so primary buttons and selected tabs stay calm instead of approachable-warm. Compared to Deep Pool Teal, it's a touch lighter and less severe, which helps it feel grounded rather than heavy. I reach for Nordic Forest in dashboards and finance apps where you want hierarchy without chill, and in logistics and operations screens that need readable navigation states over white or near-white.
Pair it with off-whites and slate grays; if you put it next to very minty teals, the blue bias can make both look a little "separated" on the page.
