Nuclear Meltdown

On my screen, Nuclear Meltdown reads like a high-voltage chart marker, but it never feels leafy. It's light enough to feel urgent, yet it stays controlled, with a laser-bright green that doesn't drift toward the yellow warmth of Furious Frog. Compared to Becquerel, it's not muted in the middle, so it won't "dim out" on you. And it avoids the smooth, leaf-light behavior of Hypnotic Green by staying sharper and more intense, with a cooler, almost stress-test undertone.

I reach for it when you need a clear "now" that can handle motion and contrast: live sports tickers, esports and game HUD highlights, streaming player overlays, and product UIs that must signal a critical step without turning into terminal-style cool. It also works well for packaging safety-callout dots and short-form promo graphics where the green has to punch through dark photography.

Quirk: because it's so bright and high-energy, it can feel like a warning even when you don't mean it. Pair it with deep charcoal, off-black type, or restrained chart grays so it stays focused on the element you're calling out.
