Out of Left Field

Cool mint-green that adds airy contrast to layouts
About Out of Left Field
Out of Left Field looks like someone pulled a minty green off the edge of a neon palette and then softened it just enough to stop screaming. It's brighter than Becquerel's slightly tired middle, but it doesn't carry the same laser stress of Nuclear Meltdown. Compared to Furious Frog, it lands cleaner and more balanced, with less yellow heat and less "hot leaf" feel.
I use it for UI states that should feel current without triggering panic. Think live production control panels, logistics and manufacturing dashboards, ad-tech performance overlays, and streaming thumbnails where you want a clear accent that still feels friendly. It's also great for motion graphics keyframes, where you need the green to read as "go" without stealing the whole scene. the one you reach for when your alert and action greens are starting to feel repetitive.
Quirk: it's light enough to wash out on pale backgrounds, so keep it grounded with deep greens, near-black neutrals, or slightly cool grays.
