About Hydro

On my monitor, Hydro reads like a calm blue that's been watered down just enough to stop feeling pushy. It's cooler than Calypso, so it doesn't pick up that slightly grayed, corporate-soft edge. And compared to Bermuda, it has less punch and less depth, so it lands more like a guide than a headline. You still get clarity, but it stays on the lighter side of the group.

I use Hydro for primary UI surfaces where you want confidence without the heavy teal weight Bermuda brings. Think dashboards and health platforms, chart series highlights, table links, and the kind of selected-state styling you need to look steady across busy screens. It's also a solid choice for fintech readouts when you want the interface to feel approachable rather than authoritative-by-force. Versus Diver's Eden, Hydro holds a cleaner blue undertone and keeps its saturation a touch more present.

Pair it with near-white and neutral grays. If you drop it beside deeper blues, it'll behave like a soft anchor instead of blending in.
