Luigi
#4cbb17
Yellow-leaning, medium green for playful UI states
About Luigi
Luigi reads like a bright, clean lawn-green sign that's been slightly rinsed for air. It's much lighter and more balanced than Frog, so it doesn't feel wet or grounded, and it doesn't carry the dense, painty confidence of Green With Envy. Compared with Emerald Glitter, Luigi is less glassy and less tight-saturated, so the green comes off fresher and more open rather than sharply "lit."
In UI, I use Luigi when the state needs to look affirmative but not punchy like neon. It works well for operations and health workflows where you're scanning lots of small components: manufacturing check passes, pharmacy fulfillment progress, lab sample status, and sustainability dashboards that update through the day. It's also a solid choice for product settings and feature badges in SaaS where you want consistent green without drifting toward yellow warmth.
Pair it with deep charcoal, cool slate, and soft off-whites. If you stack it beside warmer greens, Luigi can start to look a bit too airy, so keep the temperature shift intentional.
