Milky Waves

Muted milky sky blue for gentle, airy UI
About Milky Waves
Milky Waves looks like someone softened a seaside highlight, then let it settle into a clean, steady blue. It's lighter than Blue Martini, but it doesn't float as airy as Malibu, and it avoids the high, crisp lift of High Seas. Instead, you get a milky, slightly cloudy feel with a calm saturation that reads "signal" not "spray."
I use this in dashboards and finance apps when the interface needs clarity without that sharper, more present pop the other blues give. Think primary buttons, link accents, and chart selection states in SaaS and reporting tools, plus onboarding screens where you want friendly momentum but not the crisp edge of High Seas. Compared with Malibu's more open sky-breath, Milky Waves stays a touch more defined, like it has a soft outline.
Quirk: on very warm displays it can lean gentler and more pastel, so I like it paired with charcoal or deep navy for headings to keep it from turning too misty.
