Mother Earth
#849c8d
Duller, balanced earthy green for grounded UI sections
About Mother Earth
I keep thinking of fresh garden soil after a light rain: that slightly muted green-brown cast, not bright, not gray, just grounded. Mother Earth lands in the Green family with a calmer, warmer undertone than Envy, and it feels softer and more organic than Basswood Green's more "screen-ready" cool restraint. Compared to Basil's gentle gray wrap, this one carries less of that soothing neutrality and more of the earthiness in the midtones.
I use it when I want UI to feel steady, not springy. It shows up nicely in environmental product pages, field-reporting dashboards, and logistics or asset-management screens where status colors need to read clearly without feeling corporate-cold. It's the one you reach for when you need green that looks lived-in across tables, cards, and map overlays. It also holds well in brand systems that span packaging photography and digital, because it doesn't fight warm wood tones.
Pair it with off-whites, warm grays, and textured backgrounds; pure cool steel can make it look a touch dull instead of grounded.
