Sky Fall
#89c6df
Soft, sky-leaning blue with gentle neutrality
About Sky Fall
Sky Fall has that moment when a daylight sky gets a little richer, not paler. On a mock, it reads clearly as blue without drifting toward the greener, teal edge. Compared with Dolphin, it keeps its cool restraint, less warm-leaning and more "sky" than "alive surface." Compared with Below Zero, it's lighter and a touch more saturated, so it feels like a fresh layer of color rather than a slightly colored mist.
I use Sky Fall for secondary surfaces that still need authority: card headers, section backgrounds, and hover fills in dashboards and finance apps. It also holds up in health and travel product UIs where you want calm but not blank, especially on warmer screens where it stays blue instead of turning gray.
Pair it with deep navy or charcoal for dividers and text, and watch your whites. If you go too icy, the shade can start to look thin and washed. If you want contrast without heaviness, this one earns it.
