Tropical Freeze
#99ddcc
Softer tropical aqua with airy cool clarity
About Tropical Freeze
Tropical Freeze feels like taking a cyan umbrella out of sunlight and setting it in shade. It's lighter than Opulent Turquoise, but it doesn't read airy like Bambino does. The green tint is there, yet it stays cooler and calmer, so the color looks crisp instead of punchy.
I use this for light, low-stakes UI where you still want a distinct surface tint: onboarding screens in consumer apps, status strips in media platforms, and chart accents in logistics or travel dashboards. It's especially handy for dashboards and workflow UIs that need quiet clarity across lots of panels, not the teal push you get from its neighbors.
Compared with Beach Glass, Tropical Freeze holds a touch more brightness while staying less "glass" and more softly icy. Pair it with warm off-whites and deep navy, and watch it stay consistent across different screen temps.
