Mocha

Mocha-toned muted brown-yellow for grounded UI warmth
About Mocha
Mocha looks like the inside of a fresh paper cup right after you pour. It's a medium yellow-brown with a softer edge than the punchier caramel notes, but it's not as dusty-light as Guinea Pig. Compared to Decreasing Brown, it holds onto its warmth while feeling a bit silkier, less earthy and less "darker-clean" in tone.
This is the one you reach for when you want brown that reads cooked-in, not coffee-dropped. I've used it in dashboards and hospitality UIs for card backgrounds, filter panels, and inline form accents where you need warmth without going heavy. It also shows up well in food and beverage editorial layouts as a sidebar wash or pricing-module fill. Against warm grays it stays steady; beside Cafe au Lait it won't vanish into cream, and it won't get as saturated and assertive as Caramelised Pecan.
Quick quirk: keep an eye on oversetting it with pure warm whites, because it can start to look slightly muted rather than rich. Pair with cream or deeper sand tones for better bite.
