About Nebula

Nebula looks like a hot, saturated magenta-lavender that's been pulled through a faint cosmic haze. On a dark UI it reads smooth and confident, not icy, and the tone stays slightly lighter than the deeper magentas in this family. Compared to Ferocious Fuchsia, it's less "volume up" and more controlled glow. Compared with Magentleman, it feels cleaner and less smoky. Compared with Magentle, it has more depth and a more electric tilt, so it doesn't come off as too tidy or muted.

I reach for Nebula on video and music editing timelines when I want selected states, clip emphasis, and playhead markers to pop fast, but still look intentional next to purples and hot pinks. It also works well for chat UI highlights, pill tags, and badge accents where you want a clear pink identity without sliding toward the harsher magenta extremes.

Quirk: it can look a bit "neon" against warm off-whites. Pair it with deeper grays or neutral-lime-free backgrounds so it stays crisp instead of shimmering.
