Seafoam Whisper
#a1bdbf
Muted, cool sea-green mist for calm UI surfaces
About Seafoam Whisper
Seafoam Whisper looks like a faint breath of ocean mist trapped in UI glass. It's a softer mint-leaning blue than the teals around it, with a flatter, calmer saturation and a touch more lightness, so it doesn't read as "teal-first" the way Continental Waters can.
I use it as a low-commitment surface color for dashboards and finance apps that need clarity without pulling focus, especially in insurance portals, wellness program pages, and fintech settings where cards, panel headers, and form backgrounds have to stay quiet. Compared with Cerulean Skies, it feels warmer and more muted, less airy and less cyan-blue. Compared to Pastel Turquoise, it holds onto more blue character, so it's not just a milky wash.
Pair it with charcoal or deep slate copy and it stays crisp. On very warm displays, it can drift slightly toward a greener tint, so sanity-check your text contrast early.
