Dusty olive-gold with higher contrast and dryness

About Martian

I keep spotting Martian as that sun-tilted olive-gold you get when light hits a dusty terracotta wall and you can still see the green underneath. It's not as metallic or cool as , and it's less dayglow than . Compared to , Martian feels more green-leaning and less dry seed-husk, with a tighter, more grounded yellow cast.

I use it for dashboards and finance apps where "green" needs to read like an earned status, not a callout that's begging for attention. It works in supply-chain control panels, maintenance tickets in industrial workflows, and product spec pages for hardware and coatings. The shade is the one you reach for when you want warmth without the olive drifting too far toward beige or the label looking sun-faded.

Quirk: on very cool backgrounds, it can pull slightly mustard. If that happens, pair it with deeper green-gray text blocks instead of near-white.
