Catch the Wave

Lighter, desaturated seafoam blue with gentle green tint
About Catch the Wave
Catch the Wave is the one that actually sits in the middle without feeling like a compromise. It's lighter and cooler than Bay, but it doesn't pull back into that muted technical register Cold Wave lives in. There's real color here, you can see it's teal, not just a whisper of one, but it stays approachable instead of announcing itself. The kind of shade that works because it knows exactly what it is.
This lands naturally in product dashboards, wellness interfaces, and light-mode design systems where you need something calm that doesn't read as clinical. It's got enough presence to work as a primary surface without needing darker anchors to prove itself, but it won't fight for attention either. Unlike Antiguan, which softens toward green and demands breathing room, Catch the Wave has just enough saturation to feel intentional on tighter layouts.
Pair it with warm neutrals or lean into it alone, it doesn't need much company. The catch is screens will shift it slightly cooler or warmer depending on calibration, so test early if you're layering it with something equally desaturated. It's the shade that bridges calm and presence without pretending to be either one exclusively.
