Molten Caramel
#bb7a39
Soft caramel-brown warmth, deeper than smoky mustard
About Molten Caramel
Molten Caramel looks like the moment caramel cools just enough to stop steaming, but before it turns fully brown. Compared to Cut the Mustard, it's not sunlit yellow anymore, it's deeper and more cocoa-brown in tone while still staying orange-leaning. And next to Maine Coon Orange, it holds onto a thicker, slower warmth instead of a crisp peel brightness.
In UI, this is my the one you reach for when you want a sweet-leaning background that reads richer than a typical amber accent, but without going as heavy as Copper. I like it for food and beverage branding panels, product card headers, and checkout or loyalty components where the warmth should feel coated, not scorched. It also works in retail signage mockups and hospitality microsites when you need the CTA area to feel grounded.
Pair it with cream, toasted linen, or warm grays. If you drop it beside bright peachy creams, it can start to look flatter, so I keep contrast with slightly darker neutrals.
