About Nattō
Nattō looks like toasted soybean husk caught in late-afternoon light: muted, earthy, and decidedly less spark than the gold browns around it. Compared with Camel Cardinal, it gives up that terracotta punch and instead stays calmer and more uniform. Versus Mayan Treasure, it lands a touch drier and less "sun-amber," with less of that bright, hero-ready glow.
In practice, I use Nattō for UI moments where you want warmth that doesn't try to steal the layout. Think ecommerce category chips, ingredient callouts for food and CPG, and packaging mockups where the brown needs to feel grounded, not fiery. It's the kind of shade that plays nicely with product photography and editorial decks, especially on warm neutrals and olive-based palettes.
One quirk: because it's moderate in saturation, it can disappear next to Gingerbread House's sweeter spice warmth. If you're pairing, let Nattō sit as the base and use Gingerbread House for smaller highlights, not the other way around.
