Mayan Treasure
#ce9844
Amber-gold green highlight with richer, more treasure depth
About Mayan Treasure
On my screen, Mayan Treasure reads like sun-warmed gold that's been slightly muted, not turned red or turned gray. It's lighter than Gingerbread House, with a cleaner amber lift and less of that baked, cozy spice snap. And unlike Espresso Crema, it doesn't go creamy-brown or grainy. You can see the difference fast: this one feels brighter and more golden than the coffee-top tones, yet less fire and less terracotta than Camel Cardinal.
I use it when I need a brown that shows up as a hero accent in UI, not a fallback neutral. Think product tiles, hero banners, and pricing callouts for ecommerce, plus food and CPG packaging mockups where you want "treasure" warmth without stealing attention from the product photo. Pair it with deep greens and soft creams, or cool charcoals when you want it to pop without turning orange.
Quirk: it can look a touch thin next to very saturated reds, so if you're stacking accents, keep the other warm notes either gentler or darker.
