Golden Mist

Lighter, softer yellow-green for calm header blocks
About Golden Mist
I keep Golden Mist around for mockups where you want that light, creamy-gold warmth but without the stronger yellow punch you get from brighter ambers. Compared to Court-Bouillon, it's a touch more golden and less khaki, so it reads softer and more luminous rather than straw-dusty. And unlike Desert Temple, it doesn't lean as far toward sun-baked tan.
In practice, I use it as the quiet background in dashboards and finance apps when the UI needs warmth that won't fight charcoal charts or muted greens. It's great for section headers and card backs in SaaS settings, and for editorial covers where the imagery is olive or aged metal but you still want the page to feel airy. I also like it behind tables in logistics and admin screens because it stays legible without turning beige-sweet.
Quick quirk: if you pair it with very cool grays, it can feel slightly more yellow than you expect. Balance it with deeper green accents or warmer neutrals and it behaves.
