Cafe Latte

Cafe Latte is what happens when you pull back on warmth and saturation at the same time. It's darker and more muted than Cashew Nut or Chai Latte, but it doesn't feel cool or retreated, there's still brown in there, just less of it shouting. This is the shade that looks the same whether you're looking at it on screen or in print, which is rarer than it should be.

Reach for it in food packaging, beauty interfaces, and hospitality design where you need a neutral that actually has personality. It works in background treatments, form fields, and card layouts where Burrito would feel too forward and Cashew Nut might feel too pale. Unlike those two, this one pairs just as easily with cool grays as it does with warm earth tones, it's collaborative without disappearing.

The thing: it's dense enough that it reads intentional at small sizes, which means you can use it for subtle UI elements and actually have them land. Pair it with deeper browns or charcoal and you get contrast without the jarring effect of pushing against pure white.
