Iceberg
#dae4ee
Frosted light blue-gray for airy panels
About Iceberg
Iceberg reads like a bright winter mist on a specular surface, not blue-sky cool like Cold Shoulder and not neutral-paper like Bright Star. It's that particular light gray-blue where the blue is present, but it stays polite, giving you a cool, airy lift without turning into a committed tint.
In production, I use it when I need the page to feel clean but slightly "alive": secondary surfaces in healthcare platforms, data-heavy SaaS dashboards, and UI systems that need calmer form panels. It's a good fit for disabled states, sidebar separators, and background blocks where you want more character than a true near-white but less attitude than Freeze Up's slightly stronger blue. Compared to Freeze Up, Iceberg holds onto its brightness and airiness, so it doesn't look like winter light is about to fade.
Pair it with deeper grays or cool accents, and keep warmer tones either minimal or clearly separated. Warm grays can make this one feel like it's leaning out of your palette rather than blending in.
