Banana Frappé
#ddd5b6
Creamy banana beige-green with airy warmth, less dusty
About Banana Frappé
Banana Frappé is what you reach for when you want warmth without the commitment. It's got more yellow and saturation than Anise Biscotti, where that one sits dusty and almost apologetic, this feels intentional. But it doesn't push as hard as Beeswax or Champagne Gold. It's lighter, more muted, the kind of color that feels chosen but doesn't demand you notice it.
You'll use it on food and lifestyle apps, SaaS dashboards, and editorial layouts where a warm neutral works harder than stark cream. It pairs well with charcoal type, holds its ground against photography without competing, and reads as deliberate next to cool accents or deep greys. Unlike Anise Biscotti, it won't vanish into itself or feel cold. Unlike Champagne Gold, it won't announce itself so loudly.
The catch: it's softer and less golden than Beeswax, so if your layout needs real warmth to register, you might need it darker or paired with imagery that echoes those tones. But that restraint is often the point.
