About Lime Mist

I keep noticing Lime Mist in mockups where people want "green, but not mint." On my screen it reads like a very pale gray with a gentle green tint, light enough to feel airy but not so washed out that it disappears.

Compared to , this one holds its green signal more clearly. It's also different from because the warmth isn't leading, it's cooler and steadier, sitting closer to gray than to yellow. I reach for Lime Mist in dashboards and finance apps and health products where you want a calm backdrop that still feels a little fresh, not clinical. It's great behind dense tables, form fields, and long editorial pages, especially when you need soft contrast under dark or mid-tone type.

One quirk: because it's so light, it can look slightly bluer on some displays, so I usually pair it with grays that aren't too icy and accents that lean warm for balance.
