Walking on Sunshine

Ultra-light sunlit yellow cast over gray base
About Walking on Sunshine
Walking on Sunshine looks like a sunlit highlight left on a light gray page. Compared to Pastel Yellow, it's less milk-muffled and more visibly bright, so it doesn't just whisper. Compared to Ginger Lemon Tea, it reads a touch gentler and less "charged," with a softer commitment to the yellow. And next to Bollywood Gold, it feels lighter and more airy, so it doesn't anchor the layout as firmly.
I use it when the UI needs that lift without tipping into bold contrast. Great for light-mode SaaS and fintech account screens where you want a clean warm note behind labels, chips, and empty-state artwork. It also works well in onboarding flows, editorial callouts, and e-commerce product grids where you need the one you reach for to brighten a region without making headings compete.
Quick quirk: because it's so light, pair it with slightly darker gray text or a cooler neutral so it doesn't look washed out beside very cool backgrounds. Keep it as an accent, not a whole-screen wash.
