Macadamia
#e1ccaf
Soft warm beige-green with neutral, airy lift
About Macadamia
Macadamia always reads like a pale nut shell under soft morning light, not a coating of caramel. Compared to Gourmet Honey, it keeps more green in the undertone, so it feels calmer and less buttery than that honey-cake warmth. And unlike Caramel Mousse, it doesn't deepen into brown. It stays light and airy while still refusing to go fully neutral.
For me, this is the background color for product grids and editorial sidebars where you want warmth, but you don't want the UI to tip into yellow. It works well in green-family marketing pages, boutique ecommerce categories, and dashboards that pair data tables with photography. With UI surfaces like cards and panel headers, Macadamia gives structure without competing with badges or charts.
One quirk: if you place it next to Boutique Beige, Boutique Beige feels more assertive and warmer. Macadamia is the quieter choice, so I'll usually pair it with either a crisp cool accent or a slightly deeper green-brown to keep it from looking washed.
