Sugar Cookie Crust
#e8cfb1
Creamy, light sugar-beige with golden warmth
About Sugar Cookie Crust
On my mockups, Sugar Cookie Crust shows up like the first bite of a pale butter cookie, but it stays less peachy than Negroni and less dusty than Oyster. Compared to Sand Dune, it's a touch lighter and smoother, with a calmer cream tone instead of that parchment-to-toast warmth. It reads firmly yellow, not beige, so it keeps things airy without drifting into off-white.
I use it when I want light, soft warmth behind thin typography. It's great for dashboards and finance apps where you need a background that feels friendlier than plain white, and cleaner than anything that turns chalk-gray. You'll also see me reaching for it in subscription receipts, product settings panels, and ecommerce card surfaces that need controlled contrast with icons and microcopy.
Quick quirk: because the undertone is pale and slightly buttery, it can look a little flat next to sharper, cooler whites. I usually offset it with warmer neutrals or a slightly darker butter-gold for hierarchy.
