Durian White

Light, creamy durian beige-green for soft headers
About Durian White
I keep coming back to Durian White when a layout needs the calm of paper but not the flatness of plain white. It reads as a creamy off-white with a touch more presence, and that presence feels warmer than cream without turning into the overt yellow of Champagne Gold.
Compared to Champagne, it's a little more grounded and less "softly toasted." Compared to Boutique Beige, it stays lighter and gentler, with less saturation drift toward beige. In practice, I use it for publishing layouts, editorial dashboards, and lifestyle apps where panels, cards, and margins need to sit forward just enough. It also plays nicely behind UI typography over charcoal and deep photography, giving you weight without demanding attention.
Pair it with cooler greys or slightly blue neutrals if you want it to stay composed. Add too many caramel or saffron accents and it can start to feel like it's halfway to a warmer beige, not fully committed.
