Neutral silver-gray for crisp, non-lavender balance

About Jupiter

The first thing I notice with Jupiter is how it holds onto a crisp, daylight gray without drifting toward lilac. It's a very pale surface, but it doesn't feel like an off-white. Compared to , it lacks that slight purple warmth and stays more strictly gray. Versus Homoeopathic Lilac, the purple whisper is essentially muted, so the temperature reads more neutral-cool than gentle-violet.

This is the one you reach for when you want a calm canvas that still has structure. I use it for dashboards and finance apps where light UI needs to look clean, not airy. Card backgrounds, filter panes, and CMS listing views all benefit, especially in health and analytics products where "soft" can't turn into hazy. It also works well for disabled states and low-priority form containers because the gray reads consistently across large blocks.

Pair it with mid-grays and cool charcoals for crisp hierarchy; if you put it beside warmer neutrals, it's less forgiving than the more purposefully warm Big Fish to Fry's.
