Waffle Cone
#e2c779
Warm honey-olive gold, greener than Protoss
About Waffle Cone
Waffle Cone sits between cream and straw, but it keeps a distinctly green warmth instead of sliding fully into gold. Compared with Protoss, it feels less "pressed" and less label-clean, more soft-edged and frosting-like. Versus Sand and Dijon Mustard, it's a touch less dusty than Sand and not as mustard-sharp as Dijon, so the color reads smoother and rounder rather than grounded or punchy.
I use Waffle Cone when a UI needs a light, snack-warm highlight that still belongs to the Green family. It's a great fit for dashboards and finance apps where you want KPI chips, gentle section headers, and calm onboarding steps that feel friendly, not alert-yellow. In e-commerce and logistics, it works well for low-priority badges, inline callouts, and empty states where the background is neutral but the accent needs warmth.
Quick caution: it can go a little creamy on very warm whites, so if you notice it losing its green identity, nudge the surrounding neutrals slightly cooler.
