About Deli Yellow

I keep noticing Deli Yellow where bright yellows usually feel a bit too loud. It's not the pure, punchy lift of Cheesy Cheetah, and it doesn't sink into the honey-amber restraint of Baklava. This one stays lighter, but it carries a subtle green-tinted undertone that keeps it from turning into straight sunshine.

Use it when you need a cheerful highlight that still feels designed, especially in green-family interfaces like retail account screens, grocery loyalty tiles, and product detail callouts. It also works well for CPG and food branding accents on labels, price tags, and limited-time badges where the surrounding palette reads fresh, not golden-brown. Compared to Fat Gold, it's less "mint label" and less weighty; it reads more like a soft bakery note than a premium coin.

My rule: if your background is very warm, test it against your actual cream and tan neutrals. Deli Yellow holds up, but pairing it with cool grays or sage tones makes the green undertone feel intentional instead of accidental.
