Fairy Floss
#ebc9c6
Pale rosy peach with airy pink undertone
About Fairy Floss
On my screen, Fairy Floss looks like spun cotton that actually picked up pigment: very light in value, but not chalky, with a soft Orange undertone that stays pretty neutral. Compared to Channel, it's less rose-cool and less mid-ground commitment. Compared with Happy Piglets, it's slightly less "skin-blush" and a touch more airy, so it doesn't feel as friendly-peach. And next to Cloud Number Nine, you can see it gives up some warmth and saturation, staying airy instead of peach-forward.
I use Fairy Floss as a light Orange wash for product pages and brand sites when you need softness that won't tip into the rosy mood of Ballet or the more definite warmth of Cloud Number Nine. It's great for skincare and personal care UI backgrounds, checkout panels, and feature headers where you still want the page to feel welcoming, just not energized. For motion or carousel slides, it helps keep beige UI from looking flat. The one you reach for when you want approachable without claiming warmth.
One quirk: pair it with neutrals that aren't too pink, or it can read a little washed against richer blush accents. I like it with light sand, warm greige, or off-white.
