Gravlax
#ec834f
Peach amber orange with balanced punch, distinct from others
About Gravlax
Gravlax reads like an orange-salmon slice left in soft daylight, not the bright citrus hit you get from the yellower end. It's noticeably less orange-forward than Goku Orange, so the energy feels gentler, more spread out across the hue. Compared to Flamenco, it's smoother and a touch more muted, with a calmer warmth that doesn't feel baked-in or deeper.
I use Gravlax when the UI needs the one you reach for that sits between orange and peach-y coral, but stays clean enough to function as a single accent. Great for food delivery and restaurant ordering flows, lifestyle ecommerce promos, and product cards where you want urgency without leaning amber-brown. In travel and booking screens, it helps highlights pop while staying friendlier than the more forceful oranges nearby.
Quirk: on very pale backgrounds it can skew slightly more coral than you expect, so I like it paired with charcoal or warm grays to keep the emphasis intentional.
