Solar Flare

Smoldering tangerine-orange with deeper heat than Jaffa
About Solar Flare
Solar Flare is the orange that shows up like a flare on a late-afternoon screen capture, bright and hot-looking without turning into the soaked, wet citrus feel of Orange Crush. Compared to Jaffa's red-orange punch and sunburn-edge warmth, Solar Flare reads more golden-first, less red-forward, and a touch drier in mood. It also avoids Gravlax's softer orange-salmon spread; this one stays tighter and more directive.
I use Solar Flare when I need an attention color that still feels clean for product UI, not cooked depth or clattery browns. It works well for hero highlights and category CTAs in retail and DTC, especially where you want the click target to pop on light backgrounds but you don't want the emphasis to get too alert. It's also solid for menu badges in grocery and quick-service ordering, and for event or drop pages in lifestyle commerce.
Quick note: next to pale creams it can start to look flat and sun-bleached, so I like it paired with charcoal, off-black, or a warm gray to keep the heat intentional.
