Deeply Embarrassed
#ecb2b3
More muted pinked orange for uneasy highlights
About Deeply Embarrassed
I keep noticing how Deeply Embarrassed looks like a blush that got caught in a draft. It's a pale peach-rose with a noticeably higher red pull than the softer blush tones around it, and it reads more muted warmth than the cleaner, greyer restraint of Chewing Gum.
Compared to Angry Ghost, it doesn't carry that uneasy, hot undertow. Compared to Blush Rush, it's not as pink-sheen and washed out. This one feels more red-leaning and slightly denser, like the warmth is tucked under fabric instead of on the surface. I use it for dashboards and finance apps where you need a "we messed up" tone without turning the interface into an alert siren, or for onboarding and form states that need a gentle nudge. It also works in case-study imagery and editorial UI callouts when you want the eye to land, then settle.
Pair with warm neutrals or soft charcoals. With cool greys it can start to look tired rather than shy, so I keep the surrounding palette in the same temperature neighborhood.
